Pride in Pictures 2017: Amsterdam’s boys on boats

But of course, Amsterdam — arguably the capital of gay Europe — would know how to do Pride.

Of course, it’s one of the most-attended events in the Netherlands.

And, yes, its parade is on a canal.

The celebration Pride Amsterdam was founded in 1996 to celebrate freedom and diversity in the gay-friendly city, with five distinct gayborhoods and vibrant nightlife. Pride spans an August week, with exhibitions and cultural and sporting events.

The peak is Saturday’s canal parade, with boats from organizations and entities — and, of course, some scantily clad revelers.

    Last Chance (2012)

Made for the A3F 24-Hour Film Challenge on October 6, 2012 with Chris LaMont directing the film. The challenge was to make a film in 24-hours, with the theme of "Hidden Agenda", to include the prop of a box opening or closing, and the line "Let's get this over with." Special thanks to Stephane Mijuskovic (editor), Ruth Leighton (agent), Joe Russo, and John Jesensky (composer).
