‘Oh, 69!’ New York and Pittsburgh mayors crash ‘OUTrageous Bingo’ game

The Halloween edition of a bingo game held in Oakland, Penn., featured some big names behind the bouncing balls: Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York, Mayor Bill Peduto of nearby Pittsburgh as well as local politicos like Pittsburgh City Council President Bruce Kraus — the city’s first openly gay elected official.

Award-winning blogger and LGBTQ rights activist Sue Fulton was there, as she put it, to “deadblog” the Halloween-themed event. “The crowd went wild,” Fulton wrote, “when Mayor de Blasio took a seat to call a game with an able assist from Peduto I was charmed to hear the crowd yelling at him because he called too many ‘O’ numbers in a row.”

Kraus was there as a special guest to get out the vote, Peduto is running for re-election, and de Blasio was on hand to rally support for U.S. Senate candidate Katie McGinty and of course Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
