Perfect movie!  Strange as it seems, the portrayal of Alan Turing and Joan Clarke's relationship in this movie and the fact that there's no homosexual sex scene makes his gay romance with the late friend Christopher even stronger. I don't think it's necessary to make his homosexuality any clearer. It's already very clear that he was gay. And he had to hide it. And the focus of the movie, his Imitation Game.  I really think it's a perfect movie.

Movie talked to much about gay Alan Turing...Should be focused more on Alan Turing overall....

To summarize: 1)The Polish cracked a simpler version of the Enigma. Germans made versions with more rotors that would have been too long to crack 2)The Enigma machine used in England did came from Poland and was smuggled in England in august 1939 by french artist Sacha Guitry

I'm sure sure I'd appreciate watching this movie showing that only a few people worked on cracking Enigma.  Many people worked on it, including my Great Aunt.  My family was born near Bletchley and both my nan and her sister were asked to work on it, though only my great aunt accepted.  She never spoke a word about what went on at Bletchley.

The Polish defeated Nazi Germany before they began. What good news. All you good guys around the world keep up the good work tripping up the dictators around the world! Everybody learn critical thinking. Then tear up illegitimate authorities!! Wooh!

I'm sick of political correctness nowdays in movies instead for word "german" they use "nazi", following that logic they should call americans and british "Democrats". "Democrats landed on the beaches of Normandy!

This won an Oscar for best adapted screenplay only?! Really, America?! This was brilliant... a masterpiece! It should win best picture and maybe best actor in a leading role as well. Well, the Academy doesn't know how to appreciate/judge a movie as it seems.

To me, this is the movie who deserves best Actor. Benedict Cumberbatch was absolutely amazing in the film, seen it three times allready.. Birdman or The imitation game is.. In my view, the best contenders for Best Picture. The theory of everything being oh so close. In myyyy opinion.
