Thanks for assuming I'm a closed-minded religious freak. It's great when I try to make a clear and mature point, and I get called names.

It sounds like you're aiming your attack at straight people and not "most homophobes" haha

I wasn't raised that way. Just like I was raised viewing pot and alcoholism as bad things, I view homosexual tendencies as a bad thing. Does it mean I'm going to persecute others for it? Of course not. My family has alcoholism running through it, some of my best friends do pot, and some of my best friends are homosexuals. Everyone has their faults or things that could be viewed as "wrong" which makes the human race in itself, beautiful, in my opinion.

I just watched it on Netflix about a couple hours ago.(its available for instant viewing). It was in my instant queue for a while now and I finally watched it. Good movie. Good story. Very well acted. Something that should have been in theatres. If ya got Netflix, check it out.

What difference does it make to reason with homophobes now days? In the end most straight people are just gay hating killers who overpopulate America with legalized intolerence.

Uhm. that's why it's an opinion. I feel that it's wrong, but I'm not persecuting him/her because I know they think it's right and up to them.

Think of it this way... you are very opposed to alcoholism. Your friend becomes an alcoholic. You don't have to take it as far as ruining your relationship over it but you can say that you are disappointed in them. Hate the sin, not the sinner.

I believe that every violent crime needs to be treated like a hate crime, since when is a violent crime commit out of love.

I don't support them, but I'm not against them. I have gay friends and I love them as I would love myself. It's like having a friend who does pot. I don't support the behavior, but I'm still friends with them.

i dont think all christians are like that. my club here PRISM, received a basket of cookie w/a note that said "we hope you realize were not all the same. we accept people for who they are. and we just wanted to let you guys know that we love and support you." after recent hate crimes on our campus, threatening two of our members and two great freinds.
