Such a fine film, full of love and respect between a father and son. So happy I happened across this today on MGM channel. It is inspiring!

What a phenomenal movie. I didn't see this level of quality, humor and love coming from the 90s movie. Very touched. This seems like a movie from 2030s. Being different is being normal, regular and as most people one has its daily misunderstandings. It also made me reconsider how I see (love) my family and that it is normal to treat my parents the way I treat them. I just want to say thanks. To those who have created this movie, have a seed of thought that triggered such emotions and thoughts in me. To those who have watched it.

A wonderful film. Everyone who I have suggested watch it, have agreed that it is a heartwarming and generally positive movie. Not all gay lives have to be sad, lonely or full of angst, as too many films show. Beautifully done.

@bergerlemur I find that it is nice, and different. If you took my comment to be different or offensive, I appologize, but it is and was not meant that way. As it has been a month ago since the comment, Many people of my generation just can't seem to get past the gay element of relationships. It is very nice to see a supportive father, in a role such as Jack Thompson is portraying. And also the fact that Russell Crowe seems to be ashamed of this role, as Jack has made the comment in regards to.

If you can get past the obvious, the movie is quite good. Showing that a relationship between a father and son in a different light.
