It honestly surprises me how many dislikes there are compared to the likes. So what if Marsha isn't in the movie. So what if it's perverted. The moral of the story stays the same. That being gay or lesbian is ok.[Unless your religious, because that's a different thing.]

Yeah I kinda wish someone would redo this movie with the appropriate casting... I mean come on

The accurate depiction would have included more diversity. SO disappointed.

Terrible representation. Stonewall was almost all Trans women of color, queens, and homeless youth.

Stonewall was started by two women: a black, Transgender woman & a white or Mulatto butch Bisexual woman. They're the ones who started yelling & throwing stones or bottles from across the street as all the white guys sat & watched. The Bisexual woman said to the crowd "Why don't you guys do something?" as police were dragging her away. No reaction. But when she was TOSSED (literally, like a sack of potatoes) into the back of a police van, that's when all hell broke loose. Then the riots started & white gays & lesbians took over.

Yall. Whitewashed or not I had literally no idea what the stonewall riots were before this movie. That stuff isn't taught in standard history classes.

i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope someone will remake/make another movie about stonewall in a less white-washed and more honest way. That's all I want.

This is for ruining Ghostbusters for us normal people faggots! Enjoy watching your gender warped "whitewashed" piece of shit indie faggot movie! You can't complain at all over this! This is the absolute most poetic Social Justice for ruining Ghostbusters for normal people. This is real equality faggots. Now leave our movies alone and we won't ruin yours!

*Holy Fuck all these butthurt racist fags screaming about it being a white dude playing the lead role?* *Sexist, bigotted and intolerant much? When they did that to Ghostbusters it was totally fine right? Now that they have done it to you, you want to call foul?* *Go fuck yourselves, you ruin something for us, we ruin something for you. That is what true equality is.*

Oh yea, we totally needed another "help me I'm a victim" vehicle for the faggots. I still remember you faggots putting HIV and AIDs infected needles in chair cushions back in the day. You motherfuckers are nothing but terrorist. You deserve every bit of hate you get from people. What kind of fucking animal goes around infecting people with a fatal disease because they are literally butthurt? Faggots do, that is who. Fuck them, and fuck this movie. I'll never forgive them for the people they have harmed and killed.

  • Rachel Walsh 2016-06-04 18:59:28
I think one of the funniest things about this comment section (though there are definitely reasons to be mad about this movie, don't misunderstand) is people lack of knowledge on Marsha and how is reflects the LGBT's movement's frequent hatred/erasure of drag queens. So...stop that?
