Description A coming-of-age biographical film about the 1970s teenage all-girl rock band The Runaways. This film also explores the relationship between band members Joan Jett and Cherie Currie.

    Taylor momsen would've been a better Cherie but Dakota did an amazing job as well.

    Not being able to include the majority of the Runaways music because of the threat of a lawsuit......Including music in the trailer from Joan's solo career after the Runaways broke up (What's up with that) .....pretty much blowing off all members of the band with the exception of Joan and Cherie....and not even dedicating the film to the late Sandy West who passed away before the films release. Sorry kids...this film was a major letdown to all old school fans of the band. Just my opinion folks.

    Honestly forgot these weren't the real girls and this wasn't actually a long long long time ago. Amazing acting, singing, shouting, anarchy, set, everything is raw and real, so real, like it's happening right infront of you. This movie empowers me and my band so much, we watch it every chance we get. Runaways for life!
