Description Shane Bitney Crone's plans to marry Tom Bridegroom in California after the same-sex marriage law is passed takes a tragic turn when his partner of six years accidentally dies and Tom's family refuses Shane from attending the funeral.

    I just found out that Shane is my cousin, I am also an activist, I feel lucky to still have my partner of 13 years now, we have had some close calls with death.  Kind of strange as we also live in a building that is four stories tall and have been to nearly all the seven wonders of the world.  I am so sorry to hear about his loss, I look forward to meeting my cousin some day. :)

    "Better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all"... But it must be so painful to lose your partner of 6 years.  What a great way memorialize their relationship and validate what really happened while Tom was alive.  Great film.  Tear jerker.....  So Sorry for Shane,

    I loved this film. So heartbreaking but it shows you love exists. I didn't even know Tom but after watching this I wish he was still alive....so tragic.

    @MrSmekalka they were talking about wanting to be treated equal because he wasn't when they did not let him enter the hospital room its not a gay thing to desire equalness nor a straight thing I find that it is just human nature to want to be treated fairly with respect equality and dignity it is a movie because they were denied the equality every human deserves
