Description Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky, this is about 15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman), an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world.

    How was this considered a kid's book? It's not bad and now I do kinda wanna watch the movie. But it's kind of about nothing really, just a coming to age tell, that deals with some adult themes.

    i've never read or watched this, but my enlish teacher loves this movie (he has a poster with quotes in the classroom and charlie is his computer background with the quote "we accept the love we think we deserve") and he's gonna bring it in tomorrow for us to watch. i'm DEFINITELY going to be reading the book soon.

    I just finished the book and the movie in the same day! I've been reading the book for 3 days until on the 3rd day, that i found out there was a movie...So i finished the book and saw the movie. I must say, even tho i liked the book way more, the movie captured ALOT of emotions..i loved both :D
