I was in my early teens when this film was released. At that time it was considered to be a slightly controversial film, according to the critics, although nobody then explained why. Seemingly, It had then been given an 'X' certificate due to the gay implications, therefore I havn't seen it until recently. However, it's a great movie with both a psychological thrust and many fab. images of the 1960s.

Tough looking guys roll up on their Triumph's and BSA's and whatever ... There they are in a large gang and what do you hear  ?? -  "Who's buying the teas ??"....wooo, scary guys,  try it without sugar, really hard.. - they'd certainly put the wind up ya.... Grannies could fend 'em off with a digestive biscuit..  Were these rockers really as pissweak as they're portrayed here.???

Thank you for uploading this wonderful, atmospheric film, wasn't foggy back in 1964. Came across this film via the Derelict London website were it mentioned the Tidal Basin pub, which is sadly in a derelict state. Great acting!

The movie is based on a novel. The novel is more graphic then the movie especially with the relationship between the two male characters.

Ford Consul Capri fans, check out the car transporter parked at the Ace, 28:16. Not one, but four brand-new Capris on its trailer. As Mr. Burns would say, "excellent"!
