Description Made for the A3F 24-Hour Film Challenge on October 6, 2012 with Chris LaMont directing the film. The challenge was to make a film in 24-hours, with the theme of "Hidden Agenda", to include the prop of a box opening or closing, and the line "Let's get this over with." Special thanks to Stephane Mijuskovic (editor), Ruth Leighton (agent), Joe Russo, and John Jesensky (composer).

    This makes me so sad and so grateful I live in Canada. I watched another documentary about homophobia, except it was about Uganda. I we could just adopt one of them, and allow them to be free here in Canada and live with my family, because we could EASILY afford a refugee :)

There was no researcher sent from Jamaica, what you are referencing is comments made by Les Greene who worked with Scotland yard based on his observation. There are documented instances of women who are raped because they are considered gay, many ppl have been threatened to leave their communities and some have been attacked all because they are gay. I am not asking you anything dumb ass, I am telling you this.

    Scotland yard sent an investigator, your talking out of your ass and promoting a gay agenda, give me examples of lesbians being raped to make them straight? I will send the link to the the study after words but it shows very clearly that homosexuals in Jamaica have only themselves to fear.

    So 95% of mob beatings are also filled with homosexuals beating each other too? How about lesbians who have been raped to "change" them? Ppl living in fear of beating is actually worse than being killed. Jamaican homosexuals are not free to live and love without persecuation. Btw where the hell u get that figure from?

    Why do people continue to promote the idea that homosexuals are in danger in Jamaica, A study by scotland yard found that 95%+ of gay killers are other gays who who did it because of some love triangle.

    I like the concept behind this video, but I think it fails to represent a wide range of LGBT issues we have within the context of our society. Contrary to what the video says, not everyone in Canada can hold hands without the threat of violence. It may be to a lesser degree, but it's certainly there; in addition, our trans community is severely overlooked, and it was not until this past June in Ontario that we even had formal legislation protecting trans folk from discrimination.

    Canada needs to move away from its complex system for economic immigrants and political refuges, and replace it with a system based on due process. Every person should be allowed to enter unless it can be proven they committed a crime and deserve to be deported.
