    "jesus went up to the hill and prayed to god?" so my question to fellow christians is, if jesus was god as you assume, why would he pray to god? do god pray? plus if jesus prayed to god himself, why would you not pray to god instead of jesus? this is what the jews and the muslims have been telling you years, jesus is neither god nor son of god. he nothing more than a prophet who worshiped god. to christians who think they going to heaven after they die will only come to realize how god is extremely angry with them for noting having worshiped him or say his name. and jesus would be like, i didn't say I am god or warship me, god! look at the entire bible, there is no single verse i said i am god or warship me.

    I had to search for this original version of the Jesus Film. I see now that the film offered to watch on the Jesus Project today has been greatly altered with a totally new music score and dubbed voices. For me this film without Alexander Scourby's narration is unacceptable. I understand that the Jesus Project people feel the 1979 film needs updating and a more contemporary look but what they have done kind of makes the film look like a cheap foreign film with a rather poor dubbing job. All I ask is that the original version with that great opening narration by Scourby may still be available to those that want to be blessed by that original 1979 production. Why the Jesus Project would want to discard Scourby's narration is a mystery to me as the resultant narrations are not satisfying.

    “And saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15) The Greek word for ‘repent’ here is metanoeo which translated into English means “to think differently.” The noun form of the word is metanoia, meaning “a change of mind.” We turn to Jesus to be forgiven of our sins. We don’t turn from our sins to trust Jesus. We are saved by acknowledging our sinful condition (Romans 3:19), and believing the Gospel (Mark 1:15). The Gospel is obeyed the moment a sinner trusts in Christ’s death on the cross for his/her sins, and Christ’s burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is completely of the Lord. Our part is simply to believe the Gospel and God does the rest. Hebrews 4:10-11 tells us to rest in Christ for salvation. A changed life is the fruit of genuine repentance (James 2:18-21); and not a part of the ROOT of saving-faith (Romans 4:5-6).

    Whenever I watch a Jesus film , I put a negative filter effect over my video player. All white collors becomes dark and all dark becomes white. Finnaly a way to see a represerntation of the truth. The ,makers of the film werent they just used the wrong filter! ◄ Revelation 1:15 New Living Translation His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. English Standard Version his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. Berean Study Bible His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters. Berean Literal Bible and His feet are like fine bronze, as having been refined in a furnace; and His voice is like the voice of many waters;

    Jesus said things like; "I never knew you, depart from me". "Even those who follow me are far away from me". These quotes and actually the whole bible should make you question, not only official doctrines, but yourself constantly. "Could i be deceived myself"? Remember, the human mind is a master of conviction, a master of deception, not so different from the devil described in the bible. Most people who say they know Jesus are lying to themselves and they do not know it, which makes them even more lost. The next best thing to knowing the truth and the life is to know that you dont know it but search for it, the worst thing is to think that you know it but dont know it. Google truthcontest, click Earth icon, read the present. It contains the most correct, realistic, logical intperpretation of the bible and of life in general.
