Description On November 22, 1963, president John F. Kennedy is assassinated in Dallas. Lee Harvey Oswald is arrested for the crime and subsequently shot by Jack Ruby, supposedly avenging the president's death. An investigation concludes that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby acted alone in their respective crimes, but Louisiana district attorney Jim Garrison is skeptical. Assembling a trusted group of people, Garrison conducts his own investigation, bringing about backlash from powerful government and political figures.

The single bullet theory never had to prove a second shooter, the second shooter "QJ/WIN" (Sarti) shot from the side with his trademark soft point exploding bullet which had nothing to do with JFK's neck, a wrist, a knee, or Connelly. It did however cause half his brain to get blown off on the right side and was the LAST bullet shot. (The first one came from the Records Roof and hit a curb)

I find it quite amusing that he says 'Throuh the looking glass' while wearing obvious fake glasses. Come on prop guys!

    J. F. Kennedy was the FIRST CATHOLIC President ever in the USA (!). The USA was in his time a Protestant Country (>51%) and the dislike on the Catholic Church is/was big from some people. So Kennedy had a lot of "Enemys" and this Assassination was high professional made. So think self.............

I can't believe I liked this film on the first watch, to luckily later relent & see it's just a laughable (& sort of in an amusing way fascinating)journey through the paranoid mind of Jim Garrison. On the basis of an unreliable witness named Jack Martin, Garrison basically ruined David Ferrie's life. This man had nothing to do whatsoever with the JFK assassination. Good job, mr Garrison & Jack Martin. Even if I'm aware Oliver Stone makes good films (I LOVE "Platoon"), he dropped the ball here big time with his distorted presentation of the facts.

Very good movie, but it was hard for me to follow. I very much appreciated that accuracy of the events that Oliver Stone added into the film.

I remember watching this movie in 1991 - For about a year every time i went to the movies, it felt like I was watching some mindless 3 camera sitcom compared to the cinematic experience I got watching this movie. This was when Oliver Stone was at the height of his movie-making power - before he became a coke-fueled Hollywood paranoid poster boy constantly shaking his fist at the Man.
