    Just watched this film and it was truly amazing, great cast, acting and storyline... this is the reason why gay marriage shouldnt be questioned. Just beautiful!

    Absolutely phenomenal!! This movie is real and beautiful. And Tara, the seven-year-old niece is so sweet and adorable. There were sad parts, of course, but the ending is wonderful and unlike the tragedies depicted in most gay films. The movie has love, family, and truth. Although, I do feel slightly bad for Jack's best friend; lesbians are always pushed aside to make room for gay male romances. Still. this film made its way to my top five--along with "From Beginning to End" and "Morgan."

    Despite some criticisms here, this is a well-done, pivotal landmark film that mirrors universal LGBT lives with stellar heartfelt performances.  It was art that helped fuel the Supreme Courts ruling against DOMA And Prop 8 one year after its release.  Producer/writer/star David Ross in Special Features discusses his thoughts after the historic  2013 ruling.
