I honestly like this trailer. It's misleading in a good way.

A great movie with a very slow first hour filled with boring gossip which (of course) reveals much about the nature of the events in the film's second half.

god this movie sucked.   It looks interesting and funny in the trailer, but it was actually so longwinded, catty chatter for almost the whole first hour.   The movie is only good towards the end, because things actually picked up.  But the ending was just like....what? that's it???

His bad accent is part of the plot.

I'm reading the script for school. It's pretty much about the caste system in Britain, specifically the upper middle class against the working class. You mostly stick around the servants and see from their point of view. The murder just helps to round out all of the other plot threads and tie them all together.

is it just a mousetrap reboot?

The trailer looks like a comedy , but the film actually is like a dark Agatha Christie novel

I agree. This sounds very similar.
