Description Based on a true story. As a young boy, Eddie Araujo always felt different somehow. She started putting on her mom's makeup and wearing her mom's clothes, which her mom found odd. By the time she entered her teen years, Eddie could no longer hide the fact that she was a lot different, that she was meant to be female and not male. When she finally accepted it and with her mom's eventual support, Eddie changed her name to Gwen and started to live life as female until a tragic night changed everything.

Obviously guys who hurt or kill a transgender as in this case have an attraction to the transgender person and can't handle it.... otherwise, they wouldn't give a shit.

i remember the first time i seen this movie, i was probably 9. i have a couple of friends and cousins that are gay and bisexual, they are very nice. as long as somebody doesn't bother you, you shouldn't bother others. i hate it when people they're better than other and they always talk down on them or try to eliminate them

After watching this video I had the strangest feeling that I had seen this movie before; a long time ago. So I watched it again. Amazing movie with such a sad ending. Why can't people let other be who they are without judgment? I don't understand. I didn't know anything about Gwen Araujo before but now I hope she found peace. You and your story have not been forgotten.

Simple, not everybody is playing by your rules trannies. You can't force people to accept you as women when we believe you to be a man! As far as I'm concerned all involved got their just due, he should never try and fool men and he paid the price and those men need t0 watch where they're sticking that thing, don't have to fuck everything that walks!

Why did they have to kill her doe

I hadn't seen the movie but I'm curious does it reveal that Gwen had earlier engaged in sex acts with several of her killers while they were under the illusion she was female? To be honest I'm not sure how i would react if i realised that a girl i was engaged sexually was actually a male..

I am transgender myself, and I hope to die someday in a world that no longer hates us for being ourselves. I will never understand why cases like this must occur, in what way someone elses sexuality affects any of us? I for one fully respect everybody (males and females), I wish everyone did the same for me and people like me. RIP Guen
