This is so fucking bad....I'm not saying I agree with Jon killing someone, but this piece of shit of a movie is ridiculous.

@murderaddiction it was a self defense for sure, gay assaulted Jon
  • murderaddiction 2010-06-28 08:50:56
@xerxesmv Yeah, it's confusing. I think Jon and the other guy originally intended to just beat on the gay guy but ended up killing him without having time to think. I'm pretty sure what happened in reality was nothing like what you see in this scene. I can't imagine anyone murdering a person merely because they compliment their appearance. There must have been something else that the victim did to provoke Jon.

I don't get a point of this short film, gay pays for Jon, Jon saves him, then lures to the park and kills him? sorry people, but it doesn't make sense

@xXxHandOfGodxXx Are you aware of the Christian Dark Ages? It was a period in time where virtually all scientific progression was wiped out. We are talking thousands of years, gone. If you look at a timeline of scientific progression, you can see the exponential growth that comes with it. If the Dark Ages hadn't happened, we would likely be colonizing other planets by now. Also, no, the universe has no purpose. It simply exists.

As far as I can remember from statements regarding this incident (probably from Jon, but I can't double check now) it wasn't known to him that the person was homosexual. That was not the reason behind the actual murder. It doesn't really make sense either with his beliefs, as I would guess he saw all people as equal (equally revolting I guess) - simple constructs of cosmos -, thus it was no hate crime (which is a foolish concept anyways - a murder is a murder regardless of intentions).

I don' have the exact quotes but on more than one occasion he stated that the murder was "the biggest mistake of his life" and in the context the mistake wasn't the adverse effects to his life but the taking of another life. Meh wish I had the original interview on hand. The impression I got was that he really regretted what he did on every level.
