Just a question, does it air on BBC entertainment too? And I'm pretty new to this, is it the 14th doctor now or..? Wich doctor is it now, and when started this season? Thank you! ♥

"Call Amy" 'Which one's Amy?" "Ummm,IDK, the pretty one." *calls Rory

No, she apparently absorbed the Time Vortex by looking into the heart of the Tardis (whatever) but still remained herself. And we're getting an episode like that very soon called Journey to the Centre of the Tardis. I can't wait.

I'd vote Neil Gaiman the next head writer of Doctor Who if Moffat should decide to step down.

It was originally called something like : The Empty House.

Fantastic episode, but I've always wondered why it was called "The Doctor's Wife."

The greatest episode in my opinion. I just love the Doctor and the TARDIS. <3

yeah, that would've been a nice touch. However, I can see a lot of the classic fans objecting to that because "he's always pushed the door open! he can't change now!"
  • TheBellypop 2012-09-14 19:18:29
i also want to know why the doctor doesnt start pulling to open, seen as she objected to the pushing!

My only question is, since the Doctor and Sexy were able to have a nice chat this episode, why didn't he ask her why she exploded on June 26th, 2010 in the Big Bang? It's not everyday a murderous sea urchin planet called House steals the TARDIS matrix and pops it into a human body.

"Their all archived, I've got about thirty now!" *The TaRDiS talking about all the control rooms* "But i've only change the desktops, a dozen times." "So far yes!" 0.0 did anyone else notice that...

One of the all time best.

actually in my little version of series 8 story 3 during a casual conversation between the Dr and another character, the answer of how he could be both exiled and a runaway at the SAME time is answered. Obviously nothing canon but still. I think I have a fairly clever idea that shows how BOTH statements can be true.

Matt Smith absolutely shined in this episode, while the show may have changed since the RTD era, it's episodes like this that let you know it's still FANTASTIC!

I love it when the Doctor say's 'I've got Mail'. Doctor Who is one the rare gems on television. It's got the old school charm of something like Irwin Allen's Lost in Space instead of the modern rubbish of something like Grey's Anatomy or The Good Wife.

"We walk on his back, breathe his air, eat his food *deep voice* AND DO MY WILL" Gives me the creeps everytime.

@Doctorfan32 Yup, quite possibly one of the best scenes during that episode! :D And just reading it now soooo made me giggle.

I love it. LOL, the Dr might not admit his true age, but the TARDIS remembers it all. (re: 700 years together)

God i cried at the end, just gained so much more respect for Matt's acting trough this episode. I mean i tought he was great up until this, but there he was just brilliant! And i hope he'll start talking to his tardis abit more like tennant did. I loved their relationship.
