I like it! I just don't like the end. I understand from Brad's point of view it would have been hard to shake Andy's hand, but I think he should have. Homophobia comes from fear. People are afraid of what they don't know and the fact Andy comes back to help Brad means he's not too bad and has some compassion. As absurd as it may sounds some people need to be "educated" to gay people and the fact there's nothing bad being gay. Especially when it comes about very religious places like Alabama or Iowa

OMG Just feel like he was gay too, but, he doesn't want to disappoint people around him but, he felt like he had to help the guy and when you see he trying to make the blond one understands what is being gay, is just because he's too but he's afraid of people around him... was I clear? haha

This is a great film!!! Such a clear and confusing experience between two young men growing up in a homophobic rural place. Being from Iowa myself, I totally get it. Such kindness and ambiguity shown by the friend with the truck. This hits the core of struggling with one's gay identity. These short gay films are a gift to anyone trying to understand what it means to be gay. Thanks!!!

Here is what I got from it. The jock admitted he just watched. He was getting his jollies from it, then felt guilty and came back. His whole thing is he is probably gay but as you were told he has this deep religious belief. There lies the conflict for him. Another gay fuc*ed up by religion. As for the guy who was beat up and raped with a stick, at least he knows and admits he is gay. Kudos to him. The jock is super confused and a mess in his head. Actually I thought the split window was unique. You have to admit the movie is thought provoking.
