Description Painfully shy Todd Anderson has been sent to the school where his popular older brother was valedictorian. His room-mate, Neil Perry, although exceedingly bright and popular, is very much under the thumb of his overbearing father. The two, along with their other friends, meet Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who tells them of the Dead Poets Society, and encourages them to go against the status quo. Each, in their own way, does this, and are changed for life.

This movie was so good. But the trailer was so cheerful. And it reminds me of the Raven Cycle.

This movie is hands down the best movie ever made. Relatable, realistic and overall beautiful in every way. It'll never grow old. I was born 10 years after this movie was released and it's the best movie I have ever watched and the one I relate most to. Just like me and numbers of teenagers before me kids in the future will still love this movie and relate to it and cherish it and love it. It's magic will never die because this is the movie that thought countless generations of people to "carpe diem!"

This movie is very sad. There's a lot of Neils out there trapped in someone else's dream. Made me cry a lot...
