One more critique for now: with Sarah M G, she did some preparations for Kathryn, the black hairstyle was a nice but wicked touch in this case. Between her facial expressions, gestures, wardrobe and possibly the subtle touch, the vocal tones in most of her lines. Example, listen to her speech to Sebastian leading up to the finale, her devilish intentions are obvious no matter how subtle, the trailer gives some tricks away, but unless you're very familiar with Dangerous Liaisons, where the creator got this films idea, you may miss 'em. I liked Resse from the start, good but old fashioned love principle, Ryan P took time but grew on me as Sebastian, not quite subtle like John Malkovich as Valmont, and Glenn Close is hard to beat, but Sarah made a good effort for Modern day. For the record I saw this before D L, so the comparisons took time, biased or not, Chow everyone!

What amazed me about this movie was seeing Sarah M. Gellar in this after Buffy tVS, and how convincing she was playing a villainous bitch-that term fits her character to a tee, I don't use that term lightly) The remaining young cast aren't bad either, both the main and the cameos per se. Then of course, there's the soundtrack which fits most of the moods of certain scenes pretty well.

Actual film doesn't give old vibe but instead classic but the trailer sucks. Not blaming it for being old btw.

I got a glimpse of what hell would look like watching this movie, Kathryn was so diabolical the devil himself would praise her lead. Was totally creepy, even after they threw on the breaks at the end of the movie, I still felt as though I was trapped as Sebastian's prey and Kathryn's puppet in a dark hole shaken with fright from all the perverse manipulation.
