This was a great movie. What I liked most about it is when that witch Mrs. Tilford realized the falsehood her spoiled, bully of a granddaughter made and how she herself made a huge mistake for spreading the lie around and goes to ask for forgiveness and says that their case will be reopened and paid in full compensation, but Audrey Hepburn's character tells her pretty much to take the reward and shove it as by now its already too late.

Before Carol there was The Children's Hour. The first gay film I fell in love with. This was genuinely heartbreaking.

A groundbreaking film about the stigma surrounding lesbianism but also a film well made dealing with injustice and slander in western society. a wonderful cast and filmmaker. enjoyed watching it a lot!

This is a great, but very hard to watch movie about how words can do real harm. At the end of this ultra drama not one character is left untouched by tragedy.
