Holy shit, I saw this movie years ago and it was always stuck in my head because it was kinda scary how isolated the main character seemed in this big giant city and I had never seen that in a movie except for Taxi Driver. And now I realise it was directed by Scorcese! It all makes sense now. He is the best director at depicting loneliness and isolation.

I LOOVE this movie!! If anyone considers watching this movie comes across this comment, here's a piece of advice, do NOT watch this trailer, wait till it's nighttime, settle yourself on a couch, grab snacks, blanket if you like, and thank me after watching it!

Scorsese should do more black comedy, this was an awsome film. It is underrated as fuck, it is in my top 50 films. I highly recomended

The most joyful, entertaining and funny nightmare in cinema history, Scorsese updates Kafka to our postmodern times, to neon lights, to modern life, without losing its spirit and rendering it funny. The only way to survive life is to smile at it, no matter what is happening to you.

To me this is the most berserk, craziest, weird trip movie Scorsese have ever directed, and I know why.... Oh yess, he was on drugs , he admited it. And thank god for that. If you light a join and watch this movie, you won´t know what the fuck is going on ........just like the guy in the movie..... man ¡what a bad trip in one night ! this is definitely one of the best cult movies of all times
